Dynamics Connect 2025: Shaping the Future of Business Through Digital Transformation
Sofia, May 14, 2025 - At a pivotal moment for the Bulgarian economy and the global business landscape, Navtech Group proudly hosted Dynamics Connect 2025, a landmark event that united business leaders, technology experts, and industry innovators under one roof at the Grand Hotel Millennium’s Shakespeare Hall.
With the theme “Embrace the Future and Change the Game”, the conference delivered a bold message: digital transformation is no longer an option, it's a strategic imperative. Throughout the day, over 220 attendees explored the most pressing issues facing modern businesses: eurozone adoption, automation, AI integration, and the evolution of ERP systems.
A Vision for the Future: Digital, Data-Driven, and Ready for Change
The conference opened with a keynote session led by Dimitar Iliev, General Manager of NavTech Group , and Kalin Dimtchev, General Manager of Microsoft Adriatics. In his opening remarks, Dimitar set the tone:
“We didn’t create this conference to predict the future, we created it to prepare for it. The companies that embrace digital tools today will be the leaders of tomorrow.”
The session featured a compelling live demo by Nikolay Arhangelov, who demonstrated the the cutting-edge solution of the AI Sales Agent - built to streamline everyday tasks within Dynamics 365 Business Central through intelligent automation, and most importantly - protection of sensitive company data.
Bulgaria’s Eurozone Entry: A Technological and Strategic Shift
A major highlight of the conference was the panel discussion on Bulgaria’s upcoming transition to the euro. Tsvetoslav Angelov, Director of Supervisory Policy at the Bulgarian National Bank, addressed some of the most widespread myths about the challenges of joining the Eurozone. He emphasized that while many people have doubts - often not backed by real data & facts - the business sector is already preparing for the change and technology will help make the transition to the Eurozone smooth and successful.
Nermin Montel, CEO of DignetSoftware, demonstrated a comprehensive ERP-based approach to automated euro conversion - a secure, compliant, and scalable solution designed to support every business function from accounting to logistics.
Thomas Werkhoven, Director of Exsion 365 (Netherlands), showcased a reporting tool in Excel, tailored for euro conversion and integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central. The solution ensures accurate tracking, validation, and compliance, giving finance teams full visibility and control throughout the transition process.
Real Solutions for Real Business Challenges
The conversation shifted to how modern consumers are reshaping retail. Donka Dimitrova and Alexander Angelov from Navtech Group presented a live demo of how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Central can provide a unified customer view, enhancing omnichannel sales and loyalty.
Dimitar Iliev and Emil Hristov followed with solutions that automate the journey from factory to store. Emil showcased PocketNAV, a mobile-first solution integrated with Business Central, which streamlines inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
Technology partners added fresh perspectives: Lyubomir Stamatov from Samsung Electronics introduced smart signage as a tool for more dynamic retail experiences, while Anna Trotsko of VusionGroup unveiled electronic shelf labels that offer retailers both efficiency and agility in real-time pricing.
Digital Tools for Healthcare Excellence
The pharmaceutical sector was next in focus. Einar Pall Gudlaugsson and Henrik Oskar Thordarson of LS Retail demonstrated a Bulgarian-market-tailored solution: LS Central for Pharmacies. Their live demo showed how the platform integrates prescriptions, inventory, and sales while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Mladen Georgiev, CTO of MY Synergy, demonstrated how AI is transforming the pharmaceutical, sales, and marketing sectors by leveraging machine learning in regulated environments - analyzing financial and commercial data for the Sales & Marketing teams, while enabling Medical & Scientific teams to answer complex queries based on scientific and medical data.
Cybersecurity, Compliance & the New Digital Normal
As digital capabilities expand, so do regulatory requirements. Vihren Slavchev, CEO of Mnemonica, broke down what businesses need to know about the EU’s new NIS2 Directive. He stressed that cybersecurity readiness is not only a legal obligation but a strategic necessity.
Legal experts Angel Panorov and Petya Murgova, part of Murgova & Partners Attorneys-at-law explored the evolving definition of trade secrets and the legal challenges of protecting intellectual property in digital environments. Their advice was clear: regulatory compliance must go hand in hand with legal resilience.
Stanislav Kolev and Tonita Vakarelova from EY wrapped the segment with a deep dive into Bulgaria’s upcoming SAF-T requirements. Starting in 2026, companies must standardize their financial data for tax authorities. EY’s team offered practical steps to prepare ERP systems for this shift.
These sessions made it clear: compliance and cybersecurity are not just IT concerns, they are boardroom priorities.
Business Voices: The Power of Real-World Digital Transformation
Automation took center stage again in the late afternoon. Bartek Doruch of Data Courage demonstrated how AI-driven insights can enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, helping companies make better decisions based on real-time data.
Edgaras Bencevicius and Justina Jovarauskienė from Bankfeed introduced an innovative banking automation tool that integrates seamlessly with Dynamics 365, automating payment processing and reconciliation. The efficiency gains were clear and compelling.
